2019 Cyber Security Awareness Month: Urban Outfitters, Inc.

In 2019 myself and my team were tasked to created a month-long event for the Navy Yard campus at UO that highlighted and educated the employees in an effective and creative way about Cyber Security. Previously we were dealing with a lack of information, little to no education tools and articles, and relying solely on alerts to teach offenders instead of attacking the issue before it can even start.

We were successful, not in only gaining positive feedback and additional ideas moving forward but the items we created with the assistance of the Social Media team to keep everything uniform was a huge hit. We had coasters with small tips and contact information created, camera covers, and mini postcards. As prizes for participating we raffled off custom made tumblers and popular backpacks that were popular amongst the employees.
